Canada Trip: update

Well, the fact that I am posting this entry from my desk at work should explain that I am still in India.

Jason, who is going to be training me on VM, is off on a vacation. So no point of me going there now. They have booked my tickets on the 30th of this month and 1st of September -- both are in the waiting list. I'll be leaving by the earliest available flight.

Still quite a few things to take care of before I leave. I hope I can.

Canada trip

Got my passport back from the Canadian Consulate in Delhi. With the Visa stamped on it. My manager said that I'll be flying the next Sunday. Got loads to do before I leave. And I hope my arm heals by then, else that will make things even more difficult. Nothing much I can do but wait and watch how things unfold.

Another fall

Getting used to this now. Fell again today, this time the rear locked up under hard braking and I fell, right in front of the dumb scooterist I had braked to avoid hitting. Like it wasn't bad enough that I fell trying to avoid hitting his scooter as he took a turn without indicating, he almost ran over me too!!

I'm glad I survived this, but my left shoulder is killing me. I fell hard on my left shoulder. I hope the pain goes away by the next weekend.
